Ayurvedic Consult
Ayurvedic Consult includes pulse diagnosis to determine one constitutional blueprint based on the Ayurvedic dosha principles. Your medical history and current health status will be reviewed along with current lifestyle choices. An in-depth prescription for lifestyle and diet changes and herbal recommendations will be given. Ayurveda is an integrative approach for restoration of physical, mental and spiritual well-being.
Ayurveda, a traditional medicine from India dates back five thousand years . Ayurveda’s approach to health is to achieve a balance among the things we consume and do.
What are your unique qualities and how have they been affected by the environment, your diet and lifestyle. What are your innate strengths and weaknesses?
Ayurveda circumscribes the similarities and differences among people using a model called the three doshas. The three doshas are three specific metabolic body types. This body type or dosha reveals your biochemical profile. Each person is born with this innate constitutional blueprint that provides clues for achieving personal balance in their life. Your blueprint is a compilation of those three doshas that Ayurveda refers to as Vata, Pitta and Kapha. It is this blueprint that creates the uniqueness of each individual person. Each dosha or metabolic body type has a propensity towards certain personality traits and lifestyle characteristics. Hence each dosha carries its own prescription for diet, exercise and lifestyle that will help you to re-establish health and well-being. There is no single (one size fits all) diet for any disease or imbalance. Balance is achieved when our lifestyle, habits and diet are in harmony with our own innate qualities.
